Sweet Woods, 84” x 66” (7’ x 5.5’)

It all begins with an idea, a memory, a feeling, or an image. “Sweet Woods” began with all these prompts. Recent woodland walks and memories of past meanderings inspired the high key “sweet palette”. Time alone in the studio during the pandemic offered the opportunity to paint the feeling of joy afforded by nature.
